Hot weather spell continues in Delhi

Intensely hot weather conditions prevailed in the national capital today with the mercury remaining upto four notches above normal level.
Areas under Ridge, Palam, Ayanagar and Lodhi Road recorded their maximum temperatures at 45.2 44.7, 44 and 43.6 degrees Celsius respectively, said a Met department official.
The official said the minimum temperature was 27.8 degrees Celsius, three notches above the normal for the season.
The humidity level oscillated between 53 and 18 per cent.
The Met department has forecast an overcast conditions for tomorrow.
"The sky will be partly cloudy. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover above 43 and 29 degrees Celsius, respectively," the weatherman said.
Yesterday, the maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 41.8 and 27 degrees Celsius respectively.
