Hottest day in Jamshedpur

The steel city of Jamshedpur and its surrounding areas today experienced the hottest day of the season with mercury soaring 43.9 degree Celsius affecting the normal life.
This temperature was four degree above normal, Met office said.
The minimum temperature was registered 25.6 degree C, which is one notch up normal.
The maximum temperature on Monday was 43 degree C.
In view of the prevailing heat condition, the streets of the city wore a deserted look particularly during day time when people preferred to remain indoors.
