In a separate incident, several shops were gutted in a major fire that broke out at northwest Delhi's Rani Bagh area yesterday night.
As many as 13 fire tenders were rushed to the spot and it took them several hours to douse the flames, said a fire official.
The fire spread further when the LPG cylinder at an eatery in the area exploded.
No casualties or major injuries were reported in both the incidents. Police have registered cases under relavant sections of law and the causes of fire in both cases are yet to be ascertained, said police.
