Houses of 2 police personnel burgled in Lutyens' Delhi
Press Trust of IndiaBurglars allegedly decamped with valuables worth Rs 10 lakh from the houses of two police personnel in high-security Chanakyapuri area in Lutyens' Delhi.
The incident took place on Tuesday night at the Ashoka Police Lines, which houses residences of many Delhi Police officers, police said today.
The accused struck at the houses of Inspector Deep Sharma and constable Pradeep Singh, the police said.
The officer were out of town with their families. The accused manage to take away two laptops, cash and jewellery from Sharma's house.
They also took away cash and jewellery from Singh's house.
Police was informed the next morning when their neighbours saw the broken locks.
