Senior Congress leader Harshvardhan Chauhan today accused the Himachal Pradesh government of distorting figures in the 2018-19 budget and termed it shallow and directionless.
He also blamed demonetisation and GST for slide in the growth rate of the economy.
He said that the previous Congress government led by Virbhadra Singh strongly and effectively presented the case of the state before 14th finance Commission and it got increased devolution from the Centre.
When we ask questions from MPs from the state regarding the developmental projects, the government says we are new, but we want to know the fate of Railway projects, industrial package and other promises, he said
