The first digital press would be launched next month in Japan and followed by the launch in Indian market nextyear, Alon Bar-Shany, Vice-President and General Manager, Digital Press Division, HP Indigo, told reporters here.
Alon said the packaging industry was the fastest growing industry at present, since consumers preferred packed articles, particularly with brand value.
Here to launch the company's 10000 Digital Press to GLO Color Lab, which would accelerate its business growth and expand its product offering in the market, Alan however, did not elaborate on the price tag for the new products.
The company was also looking to take on large volumes of high value customised packaging and folding carton print jobs, Ramanan said.
