Hr: 41,175 nominations received for 3rd phase Panchayat polls

As many as 41,175 nominations have so been received during the third phase of general elections to Panchayati Raj Institutions in Haryana.
While giving this information here today, Haryana state Election Commissioner Rajeev Sharma said that 3,837 nominations were received for Member Panchayat Samiti of which 2,426 were filed by men and 1,411 by women.
Similarly, 10,868 nominations have been received for the post of Sarpanches, including those filed by 6,759 men and 4,109 women.
26,470 nominations were received for the post of panches, including those filed by 15,636 men and 10,834 women, Sharma said.
