The approval has been given with the condition that HARCO Bank and Agriculture Department will continue to make efforts to explore the possibility of taking any other available collateral security free from any encumbrances from this sugar mill as an additional safety or security to secure the government loan, an official release said here.
The Cabinet met here today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar.
He said that all payments for all other cane growers of the state had already been cleared by every private and cooperative mill in the state.
Notably, opposition parties had in the recent past targeted the BJP Government in the State over outstanding dues to sugarcane growers.
In another decision, the Cabinet gave ex-post facto approval to sanction of raising of loan from the National Housing Bank, New Delhi, and furnishing of State Government guarantee in respect of the loan of Rs 150 crore for construction of 7,602 flats for weaker sections at 16 locations in the State.
The Cabinet also gave ex-post facto approval for One Time Settlement Scheme of Haryana State Cooperative Agriculture and Rural Development Bank (HSCARDB) and Interest Subvention Scheme 2014 for timely repayments for members of Primary Agricultural Cooperative Societies (PACS) of Haryana State Cooperative Apex Bank (HARCO BANK).
