They have also been directed to ensure that staff is made available for being sent on deputation to the Union Territory Chandigarh in the prescribed 60:40 ratio.
In a written communication, the government said that, "In order to keep Haryana's claim strong on the Union Territory Chandigarh, it is quite necessary that we should send our staff on deputation basis to Chandigarh in the prescribed ratio of 60:40 ratio."
The communication, according to an official statement here, further states that as deputing extra staff from the sanctioned strength may be a difficult task, and may also adversely affect the functioning of departments, these posts should be sanctioned from authority.
