Hry govt has worked significantly towards promoting AYUSH: CM

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today said that the state government has worked significantly towards promoting AYUSH.
The chief minister was speaking after laying a foundation stone of the Lala Khem Chand Charti Lal Goel government Ayurvedic dispensary which would be established in ancestral shop of Union minister Vijay Goel at Jharoth village here, an official release said.
Khattar said that the dispensary was a "big gift" for the people of the village and nearby areas.
He said the state government has worked significantly towards promoting AYUSH as well as allopathy, Unani or natural medicine system.
"Ayurveda can be called as the fifth Veda as this system of medicine completely cures disease," Khattar was quoted as saying by the official release.
Khattar said that to promote Ayuveda in the state, Ayurvedic AIIMS would be set up over 20 acres of land in Panchkula.
He said that the building of the Ayurvedic college in Patikra village was ready and it would begin to function by next year.
A training centre is being started by the Central Council of Yoga and Naturopathy in Jhajjar, he added.
The chief minister said that the state government has planned a large-scale development of AYUSH in the state.
