The HDPDP has two elected representatives in the Assembly and three members at the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council.
Meanwhile, attendance in government offices in four Khasi Jaintia Hills districts today is very thin even as banks were closed in view of the office-picketing called by the Peoples' Movement.
Attendance in the capital is recorded at about 20-25 per cent only, East Khasi Hills district deputy commissioner Sanjay Goyal said.
In Ri-Bhoi the attendance at government offices is recorded at about 50 per cent while in West Khasi Hills, the attendance was recorded at 71 per cent.
