HUDA allots land for construction of flats

The Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) has allotted about 58 acre to the State Housing Board for construction of 50,000 residential flats in various urban estates for defence personnel or ex-servicemen.
The Authority has offered 57.96 acre, including 10 acre each at Faridabad, Mahendergarh and Rewari, 4.5 acre at Palwal, 11 acre at Pinjore or Panchkula, seven acre at Rohtak and 5.46 acre at Jhajjar, a HUDA spokesman said here today.
He said land has been allotted under the Affordable Housing Policy-2013 of the Town and Country Planning Department.
The construction and allotment of flats would be done by the Housing Board, Haryana.
