Hyderabad: boy resists sodomy attempt, is assaulted by

A 12-year-old boy was assaulted by his classmate at a school run by a religious institution in Malakpet area here after he resisted an attempt to sodomise him, police said today.
The accused boy, who is 15 years old, initially told the police that the victim had been kidnapped by some unknown perons last night. However, police traced the younger boy, unconscious and bleeding, at a nearby deserted place early this morning.
He is undergoing treatment at a hospital.
According to the police, the accused tried to sodomise the victim -- his classmate -- at the spot last night.
When the boy raised alarm, the juvenile accused hit him on the head with a stone, and fled, leaving him for dead.

Further investigation is on.
