The 23-year-old actress thinks many Hollywood stars end up looking like one another because of their make-up but she finds French actresses more natural on the red carpet, reported Daily Telegraph.
"The funny thing about beauty is that you have to be careful you don't end up looking like someone else, especially in the film industry. I've noticed that throughout people's careers everyone gradually begins to look more and more alike," Watson said.
"I admire French actresses because on the red carpet they look human - they aren't blow-dried and made-up to the point of resembling robots - and they tend to look individual," she added.
"I have always really loved make-up. I grew up around make-up artists - they were my surrogate mothers - so I have learnt a lot from them, such as the impact that lipstick can have," she said.
"I've always enjoyed doing my own make-up, and I still often do it for events. I do my friends' make-up a lot, too," she added.
