Model-turned-actor Rajniesh Duggall, who will be seen next in action-adventure show 'Khatron Ke Khiladi 5', says he opted for it because stunts give him adrenaline rush.
The 32-year-old 'Dangerous Ishq' star said the TV show will enable him to be fit.
"I have always been a fitness freak. I am a fitness junkie. Doing stunts give me adrenaline rush and I enjoy it. I always wanted to be a part of this kind of show on TV as I am an avid viewer of this show. The show will give me an opportunity to try out such sports which in routine we don't do," Rajniesh told PTI.
The actor will be seen competing against celebrities like Ranvir Shorey, Nikitin Dheer, Mugdha Godse, Dayanand Shetty, Rochelle Maria Rao, Gauahar Khan, Kushal Tandon, Pooja Gor, Mahhi Vij, dancer Salman Khan and Geeta Tandon in the extreme weather conditions of South Africa.
Asked whom he thinks his strongest competitor, Rajniesh, who was a judo champion in school, said, "Competing in the show is a combination of mental and physical conditions. You have to be physically and mentally fit to perform a task. I feel Nikitin, Geeta and Salman will be tough on the show."
With Colors' 'Khatron Ke Khiladi', Indian adaptation of America's 'Fear Factor', Rajniesh is making his debut on TV. But the actor said a reality show like 'Bigg Boss' is not his cup of tea.
"I feel I can't be a part of 'Bigg Boss'. I am not comfortable with opening up about my personal space in public," he said.
Having started his career as a model, Rajniesh shifted to Bollywood with Vikram Bhatt's '1920'. He was last seen in Karisma Kapoor starrer 'Dangerous Ishq'.
His next releases are 'Spark' and Hotel 2'.
