Priyansh Jora wanted to do films when he entered showbiz but the actor, who made his debut with the first season of Anil Kapoor's TV series "24", says he is happy being part of small-screen projects at the moment.
Priyansh, who hails from the capital, also played the lead in another TV soap "Tu Mera Hero" and he says in the end it is not about films or TV, but about being satisfied with your work.
"Since I started acting, I wanted to do films but then at that point of time I didn't know what other options I have in this field. Even the reason behind doing '24' was because I felt it was somewhat close to films.
"It is not just about performing but being satisfied with your work. So, with the characters I played I felt they were a great opportunity for me," Priyansh said in an interview.
The actor will be next seen in new show "Bade Bhaiya Ki Dulhaniya", which he says is a slice-of-life story.
"It is not a comedy show, it's a slice-of-life story. It's very real showcasing whatever happens in a family."
Talking about his character Abhishek, Priyansh says it was challenging as there are no similarities between him and his on-screen role.
"Abhishek is a completely different person. He doesn't speak much. The only similarity is that family is very important to both of us."
The serial is about finding a bride. When asked what type of a wife would he want, Priyansh said, "I totally run away from all of this. I think I'm not mature enough for marriage, love and relationships."
Priyansh says he would like to try his hands with reality shows but only when he knows he can compete well.
"I will do it only when I'm sure that I will excel in it. Till then I don't want to get into any such shows.
