I am not saying anything on it now: Mamata on Land Bill

With the Land Acquisition Bill moved for consideration and passage in the Lok Sabha, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today said that she would not comment on it now.
"Land bill is moved in parliament. We are against forcible acquisition of land. Our party MPs will deliberate on it in Lok Sabha. I am not saying anything now," Banerjee told reporters.
Stating that her party, the Trinamool Congress, had spearheaded the Singur and Nandigram land movements, Banerjee said, "No one knows better than us about the reality on the land issue. Our policy in the matter is transparent.
"We do not acquire land for showcasing it to the people.
