The 63-year-old designer says he wants to celebrate the occasion by trying out delicacies at one of the busiest and oldest markets of Delhi.
"I am in the mood of celebration. India is so close to my heart and I cherish its people, food and colours. I am looking forward to shopping, visiting Chandni Chowk, having good food and having a wonderful time here," Hilfiger told PTI.
"Indian people have embraced me with open arms. It feels so special that ours was one of the first international brands that ventured in the Indian industry and people have accepted us. We embrace all our Indian consumers because we feel they have great taste," the designer said.
