Former India captain Mohammad Azharuddin today called the picturesque HPCA stadium here as one of three most beautiful stadiums in the world and reminded that he has a century to his name in each of the three venues.
"I hit a century at Dharamsala against British MP's team, the stadium is among three most beautiful stadiums in the world. And I scored centuries in all," Azharuddin said on the eve of an exhibition cricket match here.
Actor Sohail Khan said he was thrilled to have got an opportunity to play here.
Khan, owner of Mumbai Heroes cricket team, along with his other players arrived here to play in charity match against the Indian parliamentarians.
"I fell in love with Dharamsala after I watched it on TV, and was looking for an opportunity to play cricket here," Khan said.
"We are playing the CCI T-20 tournament for the last 3 years and we are lucky that we got a chance to play cricket near the snow."
When asked if he plans to shoot a film here, Khan said on a lighter note, "If the MP's allow us to win I may."
Responding to Khan, MP Rajiv Pratap Rudi said jokingly, "If this is the need, we may fix the match."
Aftab Shivdasani, who is a member of Mumbai Heroes, said, "I am feeling proud that I shall play against (Mohammad) Azharuddin, my favorite cricketer.
The match is being organised by the Constitutional Club of India.
