The 29-year-old heiress is expecting her first child with husband Jay Rutland, who is a former city stockbroker, reported Contactmusic.
Ecclestone's sister Petra has a seven-month-old daughter, Lavinia and the socialite thinks that both the kids could become sisters if she gives birth to a girl too.
"I hope it's a girl. I used to want a boy, but now Petra has a daughter and I feel that your girls could be sisters," Ecclestone said.
The brunette beauty is trying to adjust to the different food she has to consume after being pregnant.
"For the first 12 weeks, I lived on pasta with butter on it and plain toast. It was hard to stomach anything when I felt so sick and it's better to eat white carbs than nothing at all," she added.
