Singer Bobby Brown has said he will not get a "closure" until Nick Gordon is criminally charged for his daughter's Bobbi Kristina's death.
The 47-year-old "My Prerogative" singer, in a recent interview, spoke out about the recent news that Kristina's former boyfriend Gordon was found "legally responsible" for the 22-year-old's tragic passing in July 2015, reported Us magazine.
"I know some things that happened to my daughter. I don't know the specifics of what happened, but as the judge has said, he is legally responsible," Brown explained. "I know some things that happened to my daughter, but it's up to the DA now to do his job."
"The DA still hasn't taken out criminal charges on Nick Gordon, and that's what I'm waiting for him to do. That's when I think I will get some closure," Brown said.
Though it's been a tough time for Brown, he has been able to find a small amount of solace.
"Just knowing that [Nick's] legally responsible for my daughter's death has given me a bit of calmness to waiting for the DA," he said. "There's a lot of strange things that will come out in the criminal charges against Nick."
Kristina, Brown's daughter with the late Whitney Houston, was found unresponsive in a bathtub at her Georgia home in January 2015, which was eerily similar to the pop diva's February 2012 death.
She died last summer following a six-month medically induced coma. One month later, Brown'S estate filed a USD 50 million wrongful death suit against her ex-beau, Gordon.
On September 16, he failed to appear in court for the lawsuit, which is when a judge found him legally responsible for her death.
