I-T dept unearths Rs 56 lakh from AP trader's a/c

Income Tax department today unearthed unaccounted money worth Rs 56 lakh from a trader's bank account in Nellore in Andhra Pradesh.
A release from the principal chief commissioner of Income Tax said the amount was deposited under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana (PMGKY).
The amount was found during a survey, the release said, but did not give any other details.
