Pallavi, who got critical acclaim for her portrayal of a sex worker in Vidya Balan starrer "Begum Jaan", will be playing one of the lead characters in the ABC's new medical drama series.
"With 'Pulse', I want to continue to diversify and keep expanding my abilities and horizons as an actor," Pallavi said in a statement.
The series is based on a true story created by Kris Wyld, Michael Miller and Mel Hill.
Talking about the show, the actress said, it is a riveting story that revolves around a group of young medical interns.
