I wore dirty clothes for two months: Sacha Parkinson

Former 'Coronation Street' actress Sacha Parkinson has revealed she wore dirty clothes for two months while filming her character in 'The Mill'.
The 21-year-old actress, rarely washed herself, in an effort to get under the skin of an orphan girl who works as a cotton worker in the drama, reported Sun online.
"They never washed our costumes for the whole set - they were horrible by the end but we needed to feel grimy and dirty. I didn't really wash either, as it helped me get into the role," she said.
"They slathered us in fake dirt every day, it just embedded into my skin. It was particularly disgusting when you were eating," she added.

Set in 19th century, the drama is based upon the life at Quarry Bank Mill in Cheshire.
