IAF begins plane service between Jammu-Kargil

IAF today began operating its AN 32 plane services between Kargil and Jammu, ferrying 37 passengers between the two destinations.
According to Deputy Commissioner Kargil, the first flight of Kargil Courier Service operated today in which 27 passengers from Kargil were airlifted to Jammu and 10 from Jammu to Kargil in the AN 32 Air Force aircraft.
In view of the closure of Srinagar-Kargil road due to snowfall at Zojila, the government has made arrangements for Kargil Courier Service between Srinagar and Kargil.
