The sixth IBSA (India, Brazil and South Africa) summit, to be held here in the first week of June, has been postponed due to "scheduling issues", official sources said today.
No new date has been finalised so far for the Summit which was scheduled to be held on June 6, sources said.
This year also marks the 10th anniversary of the grouping which was created with the objective to promoting South-South trade in services, goods, investment and energy.
The IBSA Summit was expected to focus on greater enhancement of trade in services among the three emerging power houses.
The last IBSA summit was held in Pretoria in South Africa in October 2011.
