Fog in neighbouring states of Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, and Delhi affected rail and road services in Rajasthan. Thirteen trains were running late and three other trains were rescheduled, an official of NWR said.
Jammu-Tawai-Ajmer train was running late by 7:50 hrs, followed by Rishikesh-Ganganagar by 6:50 hrs, and Sealdah-Ajmer by 6:15 hrs, the official said.
Upper layer of Nakki Lake in Mount Abu showed frozen patches, and trees bore icles. Whereas on plains, people in Bikaner shivered at 2.4 degrees Celsius, about five degrees below normal last night, according to a MeT report.
Meanwhile, Sriganganagar recorded a minimum of 3.3 degrees Celsius, Pilani and Jaislamer recorded 4.6 degrees Celsius each, followed by Udaipur 5, Churu 5.4, Barmer 7, Jodhpur 7.5, and Kota 8.2 degrees Celsius.
No respite in icy wind pattern is expected in the next 24 hours in the state, a forecast said.
