The locally-made IED was detected on the highway at Totagali in Bhimbher Gali area of the district today, police said, adding that a team was rushed which recovered the IED from the area.
Traffic was immediately stopped on both sides and bomb disposal squad of Army was pressed into service, they said, adding that the IED was defused. Later traffic movement was also restored, they said.
