IGP briefs J-K Guv on security situation

Inspector General of Police, Jammu Zone, Danesh Rana today met Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra and briefed him about security situation and anti- infiltration measures in the state.
During the meeting at Raj Bhavan here, the Governor discussed with Rana issues pertaining to internal security management in the Jammu region and the need for effective steps being taken to ensure against recurring infiltration across the IB and terrorist attacks in the Jammu region.
Rana briefed the Governor about the steps being taken in this regard and about the overall security situation in the Jammu region, a Raj Bhawan spokesman said here.
