 "IL&FS Engineering plans to raise up to Rs 500 crore")
IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company is looking to raise up to Rs 500 crore at a board meeting likely to be held this week.
The meeting is scheduled for August 11, the company said in a BSE filing.
The board of directors of the company in the said meeting may consider "additional fund raising options for an amount up to Rs 500 crore".
The board may also consider seeking "shareholders' approval for the same at the ensuing Annual General Meeting of the company".
IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company is one of the leading multi-national infrastructure development, construction and project management companies.
The company executes projects under various domains such as buildings and structures, roads, railways, irrigation, power, ports and oil & gas.
