Illicit liquor manufacturing unit busted, 1 arrested in J-K

Police have unearthed an illicit liquor manufacturing unit and arrested one person in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district, an official Wednesday.

Acting on a tip-off, a team from the Dharamsal police station raided a location in Bakhar village and unearthed the liquor unit, he said.

The team also seized 40 litres of illicit liquor, he said.

The accused was identified as Ishar Dass of Bakhar (Siot), the official said, adding that a case was registered against him.
