"The party has decided to field Molvi Imran Raza Ansari from Pattan Assembly constituency," a spokesman of the Peoples Democratic Party said.
Imran was the party's candidate from Srinagar's Zadibal constituency, but the change was necessitated by the demise of his father and Pattan MLA Molvi Iftikhar Ansari, who passed away on September 30, he said.
Molvi Iftikhar Ansari's brother, Molvi Aabid Ansari, will be the party candidate from Zadibal constituency, he said.
