Beginning January 31, next year, the fair will showcase over 1000 established and emerging artists from world over with approximately 100 galleries lined up for the event, according to organisers.
"This year we have been focused on sustaining scale, as well as the quality of the art being shown at the fair," says Neha Kirpal, founder and co-owner of India Art Fair which was established in 2008.
The art extravaganza, formerly known as the India Art Summit, has sustained a three-fold growth rate in terms of scale, footfalls, and participation.
Over the past four editions, a total of 260,000 visitors from 67 cities around the world, visited the India Art Fair making it one of the world's most attended art fairs, according to statistics provided by the organisers.
Sandy Angus, co-owner of India Art Fair says,"...We truly believe in India's potential as one of the most promising emerging art markets in the world."
Agnus along with Will Ramsey had turned international partners of the India Art Fair in 2012. Collectively, the duo own 22 art fairs in key markets around the world.
"We feel our international network which includes new art fairs launching next year in Shanghai, Istanbul and London, as well as initiatives in Latin America, will also help support India Art Fair's international outreach," says Angus. MORE
