India, Ethiopia to boost cooperation in communication field

India and Ethiopia today agreed to strengthen the cooperation in areas of media and communication.
The issues regarding the cooperation were discussed during a meeting between Information and Broadcasting Minister M Venkaiah Naidu and an Ethiopian delegation led by its Communication Affairs Minister Negeri Lencho here.
During the meeting, both the ministers agreed to have an institutional mechanism for collaboration between public broadcasters of both the countries in areas of content generation and capacity building of officials.
The scope for student exchange programmes between educational institutions of the two countries was also discussed, an official release said.
