India played in true competitive spirit and did not allow their rivals to score even a single goal in the first half but in the second half both the teams went on a goal-scoring spree but in the end it was Scotland who had the last laugh.
Scotland's Vikki Bunce (44th minute, 67th), Ailsa Wyllie (64th), Clement (68th) were the goal scorer, while Neha Goyal (46th), Lilima Minz (51st) and Navnet Kaur (63rd) contributed for India in the match.
However, India turned the tables with three consecutive goals to take a 3-1 lead. India's Neha equalized in the 46th minute through a penalty corner, while five minutes later, Lilima followed suit with another goal.
In 63rd minute, Navnet Kaur exploited the gaps in the Scotland defense and sounded the board to take India to a 3-1 lead.
However, India's euphoria was shortlived as Ailsa soon scored a goal in 64th minute to reduce the lead. A penalty stroke was then awarded to Scotland and Bunce pounced on the opportunity, put the ball high in the net to level the score 3-3 in 67th minute.
India had lost to Scotland 0-4 in their second match of the tournament.
