India's point of view on cross-country skills mobility and portability of social security schemes is gaining wider support, India's G20 Sherpa Shaktikanta Das said today.
Das addressed the meeting of G20 Sherpas at Ushuaia in Argentina.
"Meeting of G20 Sherpas focused on world economy, future of employment, education and digital economy. I highlighted India's initiatives and perspectives in each of these areas," he said in a tweet.
"India's viewpoint on the importance of cross country skills mobility and portability of social security schemes gaining wider support...Digital economy will define the shape and content of world economy in the coming decades. The focus has to be on inclusiveness," Das added.
Das, a former finance secretary, last year was appointed India's G20 Sherpa till December 31, 2018, for the Development Track of the grouping.
