BJP MP Tapir Gao from Arunachal Pradesh on Thursday said in Lok Sabha that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should resolve the matter related stapled visa issued by China to people from his state as they should not be treated as "second grade" citizens.
Raising the issue during the Zero Hour, Gao said China issues stapled visa to residents of Arunachal Pradesh and as a result they are not allowed to travel to the country.
Gao said people of Arunchal Pradesh should not be treated as "second grade citizens" and urged Prime Minister Modi to resolve this issue during Chinese President Xi Jinping's visit to India.
Another BJP MP Locket Chatterjee raised the issue of madrassas in West Bengal and alleged that they are illegally getting funding from other countries.
Indian Union Muslim League MP from Tamil Nadu K Navas Kani raised the issue of alleged "misuse" of investigating agency NIA. He claimed that innocent Muslims are being targeted and said that it should be stopped.
He said there is a need for stringent laws in the country but they should not be misused.
