Initial Arabic copy of "India and the UAE:In Celebration of a Legendary Friendship" was presented to UAE's Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al-Nahyan yesterday.
Venu Rajamony, former Consul General of India to UAE and currently Press Secretary to the President of India presented the book at a function here.
Addressing the gathering Rajamony said,"this was the first time a comprehensive and detailed account of the India-UAE relationship was being published in the Arabic language".
An updated version of the book in Malayalam was also released in January 2013 by Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy in Kochi.
The book is a treasure trove of various facts, figures, stories and relations between the two countries, since ancient times.
The English edition of the book released, way before in February 2010.
