India win first Test against West Indies by 318 runs

India skittled out the West Indies for just 100 runs to record a massive 318-run victory in the first cricket Test, here on Sunday.

India declared their second innings at 343 for seven to set the hosts a stiff 419-run target as Ajinkya Rahane scored 102 runs but Hanuma Vihari (93) missed out on his hundred by seven runs.

Jasprit Bumrah (5/7), Ishant Sharma (3/31) and Mohammed Shami (2/13) blew away the hosts batting-line up.
