Gurbani Singh was the lone Indian to play a modest round of 74, which helped her finish with a three-day total of 226 and in tied 11th place.

Aditi Ashok (83) and Raksha Phadke (89) were unable to find the momentum and that resulted in the India, sponsored by Usha, slipping sharply in the standings.

From overnight fifth, they ended tenth with a total of 457.

A dominant South Korea won their sixth consecutive Queen Sirikit Cup team title in Singapore yesterday, with 16-year-old Kim Hyo Joo taking home the individual honours.

Hyo Joo carded a two-under-par 70 to end the tournament at 12-under 204, while New Zealand hotshot Lydia Ko took second place (210).

The Koreans finished with a three-round total of 413, 25 strokes ahead of second-placed New Zealand (438) and Australia (440).

Philippines (444), Malaysia (445), Thailand and China (446) and Indonesia (449) finished ahead of India at 452. PTI Cor CM
