Gurcharan Singh, 37, of Te Puke town near the city of Tauranga in New Zealand's North Island denied all charges of assault and wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, local media reported.
Singh, who was on trial in the Tauranga District Court, claimed he stabbed three men on July 27, 2012 in self-defence after he was threatened to be killed and beaten with a hockey stick.
After hearing the argument, the jury pronounced the verdict and acquitted Singh of all charges, New Zealand Herald reported.
