Indian man stabs lover to death in UAE;tries to commit suicide

An Indian man has allegedly stabbed his lover to death in a fit of jealousy and tried to commit suicide by drowning himself in the sea in the UAE.
The suspect, identified only with his initials MA, is accused of stabbing his lover KK to death and leaving her body lying on the ground in front of a hotel in Abu Dhabi, the Ministry of Interior said.
MA, who then tried to commit suicide by drowning himself in the sea, was rescued by members of the marine rescue team. He was placed under surveillance until he recovers and is ready for questioning, Gulf News reported.
Colonel Rashid Mohammad Borshid, head of the Criminal Investigations Department reported that a team was immediately set up to investigate the crime and identify the suspect who was lying in one of the hospitals following an attempted suicide.
Further details about the victim and the suspect were not immediately known.
