"This year is our goal is to raise Canadian dollar 4,00,000 that will help AIDS Committee of Toronto (ACT) to meet the needs of 20,000 people who have been tested positive for HIV," the campaign's organiser, Scotia Bank's senior manager Sante Tesolin said.
"Youths, wearing red shirts and carrying placards, participated in the five-km walk to spread awareness about the disease on Sunday," he added.
The route for the walk was created to commemorate the work of AIDS service organisations, their volunteers and those who lost to, and living with, HIV-AIDS, he said.
