A local court today reserved its order on a private complaint seeking action against the star- cast of 'Son of Sardar' and others for allegedly hurting sentiments of Sikh community during the film's promotion on reality show 'Bigg Boss' last year.
Judicial Magistrate (First Class) Ashutosh Shukla reserved the order till June 21 on the complaint filed by Gagandip Singh, a local resident.
According to Singh, during an episode of 'Bigg Boss-6' (aired on Colors channel), cricketer-turned-politician Navjot Singh Siddhu had offered turbans to female participants of the reality show, which hurt the religious sentiments as women can't wear a Sikh turban without sanction of the community.
Singh sought prosecution of 'Bigg Boss' host and actor Salman Khan, Siddhu and 'Son of Sardar' actors Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt and Sonakshi Sinha for "hurting the religious sentiments" of Sikhs.
