Industrial oils slump on reduced demand

Castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial slumped further at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today following reduced demand from soap and shippers industries.
However, refined palmolein gained further owing to good demand from retail buying.
Meanwhile, groundnut oil and linseeds oil ruled steady in absence of any worthwhile buying support.
In the non-edible section, castorseed bold fell by Rs 50 per 100 kg to Rs 3,845 from Wednesday's close of Rs 3,895 and castoroil commercial went down by Rs 10 per 10kg to Rs 799 as against Rs 809 yesterday.
Linseed oil ended unaltered at Rs 1,000 per 10kg.

Moving to edible segment, refined palmolein rose by Rs 4 per 10 kg to Rs 617 from yesterday's close of Rs 613 and groundnut oil closed unchanged at Rs 1,000 per 10kg.
