Industrial oils surge in mute trade

Castor seed bold and Castroil commercial surged in an otherwise mute Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today following sustained demand from soap and shippers industries.
While, groundnut oil, refined palmolein and linseed oil ruled steady in absence of any large-scale buying.
In the non-edible segment, castor seeds bold climbed by Rs 40 per 100kg to Rs 3,765 from Monday's close Rs 3,725, and castoroil commercial rose by Rs 8 per 10kg to Rs 783 as against Rs 775 yesterday.
Linseed oil ended unaltered at Rs 1,050 per 10kg.
Moving to edible section, groundnut oil and refined palmolein closed unchanged at Rs 960 per 10kg and Rs 582 per 10kg, respectively.
