Infosys implements solution for Discover Financial Services

Country's second largest software services firm Infosys today said it has implemented its Finacle core banking solution for Discover Financial Services, a US-based direct bank and payment services company.
The platform provides Discover with real-time processing and customer servicing for deposits portfolio and is expected to be extended to support Discover's installment lending products as well, Infosys said in a statement.
"As our direct banking business grows, the Finacle platform will help us scale and optimize internal processes so that they keep pace with evolving consumer demands and market trends," Discover Financial Services President Consumer Banking Carlos Minetti said.

SBI Life Insurance launches smart guaranteed savings plan * Private insurer SBI Life Insurance has launched a guaranteed return savings plan for a tenure of 15 years.
The scheme is targeted for an age group of 18-50 years carries a minimum premium of Rs 15,000. On maturity, customers will get the basic sum assured along with the accrued guaranteed additions, it said.

Mahindra Comviva launches connectMoney Service Manager * Mobility solutions provider Mahindra Comviva today said it has launched connectMoney Service Manager in partnership with Econet Wireless in Zimbabwe.
As a part of the deployment, Econet Wireless has issued MasterCard debit cards, which are linked to the EcoCash Wallet.
This is the largest rollout of secure EMV Chip and PIN payment cards in Zimbabwe and also the first time that MasterCard debit cards are available to consumers using mobile money services in Africa, Mahindra Comviva said in a statement.

CampusSutra.Com signs up Propaganda India for Brand Overhaul * Bangalore-based advertising agency Propaganda India today said it has signed up online youth apparel company, CampusSutra.Com.
CampusSutra is a featured brand on Jabong, Flipkart, Snapdeal and Myntra. It has a portfolio of over 12,000 SKUs in its product portfolio.
As part of the engagement, Propaganda India will redesign the entire website to improve the user experience and driving sales in this exciting growth phase for CampusSutra.
