"The government of India should initiate a multi-pronged strategy against Pakistan apart from giving a befitting army response at an appropriate time and place of choice," state BJP spokesperson Virender Gupta said
Other options, including isolating Pakistan and getting enforced sanctions against the country by the international Community, isolating it among the SAARC nations, excluding it from the list of preferred nations and exposing the neighbouring country before the world community and getting it declared as terrorist state, should be adopted, he said.
It is a good signal that the UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon, France, US, UK, China, Afghanistan and Russia have condemned the terrorist attack and expressed their solidarity with India, he added.
