Inmate commits suicide, other prisoners clash with dy jailer

An inmate allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself in his cell following which other prisoners clashed with the deputy jailer and indulged in brick batting.
Kamlesh, resident of Thadia area of the district hanged himself with a cloth in barrack number 3 late last night, police sources said.
As soon as his fellow inmates came to know of the incident, they clashed with the deputy jailer and other security guards, sources said.
The prisoners also indulged in brick-batting, sources said, adding Jailer Satyendra informed the district authorities and District Magistrate Dr Rupesh Kumar and Superintendent of Police Subhash Shakya, who reached the spot.
