Vice Admiral P Ajit Kumar, Commandant, INA flagged off the event which tests the limits of physical endurance, determination and will power in a cadet, a press release from the academy said today.
The cadets ran a course of 12.5 kms across the varied terrain of Ezhimala which included a beach stretch of about two kms.
Presenting trophies and individual prizes to the winners, the Vice Admiral emphasised the importance of cross-country running in the military Academies, bringing out the fact that this tested the mettle, perseverance and will-power of each aspiring officer cadet of the Armed Forces of India, the released said.
